#6 Grounded (3-1) is 13-for-24 at Presque Isle and the 7-year-old gelding has never been better. He won his last two local routes and his early-pressing versatility should play well in this spot.
#5 Forever Souper (5-1) was part of the trifecta in eight of his last ten starts and he won this race last summer. The versatile gelding is 2-for-2 at Presque Isle and 3-for-3 at this distance.
#7 Surly Furious (10-1) got back on the beam with an extended sprint win at Canterbury on July 9, and he stretches back out in his second start after a layoff. He is 6-for-11 at Presque Isle and will try to get involved from off the pace.
#3 Regalo (4-1) beat Forever Souper by a length in a turf route at Laurel on June 21, and he pressed the issue and finished up the track in a turf route at Saratoga last time. Brittany Russell is 29% with horses moving from turf to synthetic and this is his third start after a layoff.
