#2 Agency (7-2) landed the place in back-to-back local 6T events in March and May, and he dueled and prevailed by a head as the favorite at this course/distance June 12. He was 16-1 in an OC-80k/2x affair at 5T Aug. 23 and he broke from an outer post and was 6th of 9 (beaten 2.5 lengths). He is down in class and back at his winning distance, and his winning rider Mike Smith stays put.
#7 Betterdaysrcoming (2-1) was nabbed out of his last for $25k by George Papaprodromou and he is a profitable 28% first after the claim. He beat Agency by a length at this course/distance May 16 and he stalked and missed by a length as the favorite at 5T Aug. 17.
#6 Simplexity (9-2) turns back and drops below his claimed price for Jef Mullins, and he reunites with his winning rider Hector Berrios. All three of his wins were at SA including a pair at 6.5T.
#8 Jetovator (3-1) is a 9-year-old gelding with six local wins and he handles this distance (12 3-2-2). Antonio Fresu is a profitable 5-for-12 with Peter Eurton and he should be forwardly placed.
