Horse Comments:
#1 Conquistadora (4-1) scratched out of a MSW turf route on Nov. 9 and shows up in this dirt route instead. She was 5-2 in her 8T bow on Oct. 3 and she rallied for the show in a decent effort. Michael McCarthy’s $250k Justify filly adds blinkers and her new rider Kazushi Kimura is 26% with this outfit.
#8 Consequent (7-2) is an Into Mischief FTS and dam has tossed two winners from three starters. Juan Hernandez is 11-for-25 with Bob Baffert recently and 22 of those runners finished in the trifecta. She sports eight local works for this.
#7 Banzai Betty (4-1) broke slow and rallied from far back to miss by a neck in her local 6f bow Aug. 30. She was in too deep second time out in the G2 Oak Leaf and she was a well-beaten fourth, and winner Explora returned to finish second in the G1 BC Juvenile Fillies. She ran fast enough to compete with these in both starts. Umberto Rispoli got to know her last time and he is 44% with George Papaprodromou.
#4 Total Val (10-1) ran into subsequent G1 BC Juvenile Fillies winner Super Corredora in a flat mile MSW affair at SA Oct. 11. She was 7-2 in that event after facing quality rivals Explora and Revera in her first two starts.
