Horse Comments:
#8 Maximus Meridius (4-1) won the Gravesend at AQU last year and the Toboggan at that same venue in February. He was part of the exacta in three of his last five starts and usually runs his race at PRX (9 4-3-1). His winning rider Mychel Sanchez stays put and he should impact the pace.
#10 Paradise Valley (8-1) hit the board in his last four starts. He likes this oval (10 4-2-1) and will try to get involved from off the pace. He earned decent speed ratings in his last pair and was clearly second best in both of those races.
#6 Veeson (8-1) makes his first start in half a year and he exits a productive race (1-2 finishers next-out winners). The 7-time local winner likes this distance (8 3-1-3).
