Check out my Tuesday (1-6-26) Parx Racing Race 9 analysis below.

PRX 9 (OC-16k/1x, 6.5f) – Post Time 3:41 PM ET
Primary – #8 LASSO, #1 Harp’s Hot Corner
Secondary – #4 Quasi Warrior, #10 Tunisian Spring

Horse Comments:

#8 Lasso (6-1) tracked the pace and won his last two local sprints and Scott Lake re-claimed him on Dec. 22. The sharp gelding steps up after earning an improved number in a $15k victory on Dec. 22.

#1 Harp’s Hot Corner (4-1) was claimed out of his last two starts and his new trainer Mike Pino is 26% first after the claim. He landed the place in a similar local sprint in November and finished fourth when last seen on Dec. 3. He was the betting favorite in seven of his last ten starts and he won three of those races. This is his third start off a layoff and his winning rider Mychel Sanchez stays put. The 9-time local winner is 4-for-5 with a runner-up finish at this distance.

#4 Quasi Warrior (9-2) is 3-for-4 with a runner-up finish and the 4-year-old gelding showed early speed in all of his starts. He exits back-to-back front running wins at Parx including a 9-length romp at this distance in November.

#10 Tunisian Spring (6-1) was 5th of 9 in a turf sprint at Aqueduct last time. He stalked and scored in a local dirt sprint as the favorite on Oct. 8 and he might work out a decent tactical trip under his new rider Frankie Pennington.
