#6 Outtaherway (3-1) was right up on the pace and was part of the exacta in three of four starts. Her numbers are on the rise and she was clearly second best as the beaten favorite in a local $25k/2L affair at 6f Feb. 9. It is a good sign that she earned her best number in her first start as a sophomore, and her trainer Scott Young is 25% at the current stand. Her new rider David Cabrera is 2-for-4 with this outfit.
#7 From the Top Rope (5-1) paired up solid numbers in back-to-back local sprints in January and February. Her winning rider Floyd Wether, Jr. is 28% with Scott Young and an outside tactical trip is expected. She is faster this year.
#2 Samantha Code (5-2) was part of the trifecta in all four starts. She will try to get involved from off the pace and might pick up a minor award.
#1 Momacya (4-1) ended her juvenile campaign with a dueling maiden win as the strong favorite at RP in December, and she dueled inside and was second best in a local allowance race at this distance Feb. 17. She earned a quality number last time and should be right up on the pace from the inside post at a speed friendly distance.
