#2 Mister Mmmmm (4-1) chased the pace and landed the place at 5.5T Feb. 16 and was 2 1/4 lengths in front of That’s Right. Jose Ortiz rides back and he is 4-for-11 with four runner-up finishes with Joe Sharp recently. The versatile 8-year-old gelding is 3-for-6 with a second and a third at FG.
#7 Vesture (7-2) was part of the exacta in his last four local starts. He rolled to a big entry level win as the even money favorite at 5.5T Feb. 26. His new rider Brian Hernandez, Jr. is 3-for-4 with Bret Calhoun recently and a tactical trip is expected.
#3 That’s Right (5-1) hit the board in his last two local turf sprints vs. this kind. He is entered for the $50k tag and might stalk the pace and get a piece of the purse.
