Bath House Row Stakes picks at Oaklawn on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This a win and you’re in for the Preakness.

OP 6 (Bath House Row, 9f) – Post Time 4:27 PM ET
Primary – #6 HONEY’S TO BLAME, #3 Chad Allen
Secondary – #2 Western Warrior, #1 Thebabeslayer, #4 Khon Han

Horse Comments:

#6 Honey’s to Blame (3-1) was part of the trifecta in five of his last six starts for Ken McPeek. He completed the trifecta in back-to-back MSW turf routes last year, and won a pair of local starts vs. lesser in December 2025 (MSW, AR-bred, 6f) and Feb. 8 (OC-50k/1x, 8.5f – first lasix). He was up the track as a 67-1 longshot in the G2 Rebel (lasix off), and had a troubled start and rallied to finish second by a neck in a clear runner-up finish vs. local AR-bred Alw-3L event as the 1-2 favorite March 26 (lasix on). Lasix is off again and the Blame colt owns competitive numbers.

#3 Chad Allen (7-2) stretched back out and missed by a neck in a local flat mile Alw-125k/2L affair March 27. The Union Rags colt earned a quality late pace rating last time.

#2 Western Warrior (8-5) added lasix and captured his last three local dirt routes under Ramon Vazquez by a combined 17 1/2 lengths. He loses lasix and is versatile.

#1 Thebabeslayer (6-1) is a LA-bred colt with trifecta finishes in his last five starts. He earned a decent number in a sharp win in the restricted Texas Thoroughbred Association Derby at a mile and 70 yards March 21.

#4 Khon Han (10-1) returned from a layoff and looked good winning a dirt route allowance race at TAM Jan. 16. The versatile colt ran well in all three starts.
