#6 Mashie Niblick (5-1) was my top choice on June 19 but she scratched and her connections opted for this spot instead. She was 5th of 9 in her MSW 7.5T bow at Horseshoe Indy (June 2025). She moved to the Steve Miyadi barn and rallied for the place in a Mcl-32k dirt sprint at DMR second time out (August 2025). She drops in class and barn is a profitable 21% with this type of layoff runner.
#1 Blame It On Abby (2-1) returned from a layoff of more than half a year and ended up a clear, distant third in a CA-bred Mcl-50k turf sprint May 8 (first lasix), and the runner-up was a next-out winner. She removes blinkers and returns to dirt.
#4 Perfect Smile (8-5) jumped the rail in her MOC-62.5k bow, and she hit the board in her next three starts. This is her first start since August 2025 and she should be a forward factor under her new rider Joel Rosario.
#5 Twisted Humor (4-1) is back in for a tag and figures to impact the pace. She completed the exacta in two of three starts at this distance.
