#4 Poseidon’s Law (3-1) chased from second and won his 5f bow on all-weather ground at 5-2 odds June 2025. He was last of 5 in a turf sprint at CD second time out (October 2025), and he was last seen missing by a neck at 5T December 2025. He fired a 5f bullet for this in Florida July 4 and Jose D’Angelo is 1-for-2 at DMR. Emisael Jaramillo hops aboard the $375k Tiz the Law colt.
#2 Private Gem (4-1) won his first two turf sprints at SA last year (6.5T), and he had an uncomfortable trip and ended up 4th of 12 as the beaten favorite at 6T June 12. This is his third start off a long layoff and Julien Leparoux is his new rider. He won his career debut at 5.5f on dirt so he does handle these abbreviated distances.
#6 Sir Rocket (12-1) exits a runner-up finish as the favorite in a dirt sprint at LRC. He competed in a pair of local 5T races last year with a win and a close show finish, and he will try to get involved from off the pace under Joel Rosario.
#8 Legal Heir (8-1) turned back and finished an improved second at 6.5T May 16, and he graduated at 6T June 14. The class riser retains the services of Kazushi Kimura and he is quick enough to make the lead at this abbreviated trip.
