#5 Being Myself (7-2) was 7th of 8 at 19-1 odds in a turf experiment July 9, and she was bumped at the break and ran out of ground at one mile around one turn Sept. 11 (5th of 8 – beaten 2.25 lengths). She is back around two turns and ran well in all three starts at 1 1/16 miles including a sharp local entry level allowance tally September 2025.
#4 Clairita (5-2) was the beaten favorite in a turf route Sept. 19 (6th of 9). She was back on preferred ground at KEE Oct. 7 and stalked the pace and was clearly second best (OC-80k/2x, 8.5f). and Phil Bauer is a profitable 32% with beaten favorites and Junior Alvarado got to know her last time. She won twice in dirt routes at CD including a front running score May 17, and she likes this distance (7 2-3-1).
#8 Ile de La Cite (5-1) improved her numbers in all three starts. She split a 12-horse field in her local 6f bow (runner-up next-out winner). She dueled and prevailed by a head over a next-out winner at one mile second time out (Ellis Park MSW), and she clicked right back on the front end as the favorite at this course and distance Sept. 26. Tyler Gaffalione got to know her last time and Brendan Walsh’s City of Light filly should make her presence felt from the outset.
#3 Resist (8-1) has not been seen since finishing 9th of 13 from the outside post in the G1 Kentucky Oaks. She ran well in her first four starts on all-weather ground including back-to-back show finishes in Oaks points races. She drilled a local half-mile bullet for this back on Sept. 27 (best of 104).
