Horse Comments:
#6 Volatiled (8-5) is 1-for-8 with four runner-up finishes and a show finish. She hit the board in her last four starts including a clear runner-up finish vs. this kind Nov. 8 and she exceeded the winning par for this last time. Tyler Gaffalione takes the call and a stalking trip is expected.
#1 Cooey (4-1) landed the place in two of five starts in California for Bob Baffert. She moved to the Saffie Joseph, Jr. barn and dueled and prevailed by a nose as the favorite in a local 6f MSW affair on Nov. 7, and it was 7+ lengths back to the show finisher. She should impact the pace from the inside post under her winning rider Micah Husbands.
#7 Breezey Bella (7-2) was claimed by Carlos David in August and she added blinkers and landed the show Oct. 5. She missed by a half-length on Oct. 26 and the show finisher was a next-out winner, and she stalked and scored in a $12.5k all-weather sprint Nov. 16. She wired the field in an allowance dirt sprint at TAM in May and the sharp class riser should attend the pace from the outside post under her winning rider Samy Camacho.
#2 Wiggle An’ Wine (3-1) captured three of her last four all-weather sprints and this is her first start since June. She reconnects with Irad Ortiz, Jr. and he guided this one to a $35k claiming win in March. She is 1-for-6 with a pair of runner-up finishes on dirt.
