Comments: #10 Pretty Point (6-1) exits a course/distance victory as the chalk in the optional claiming ranks. She hit the board in both of her graded turf routes at 10f and 12f. Smith strings along and she will try to get involved late. #2 Maxim Rate (7-2) exits a fast optional claiming win at one mile. Rispoli stays put and she is a threat if she handles the added ground. She was 2nd by a nose at a mile and an eighth in the Providencia (G3) at SA last year. #5 Siberian Iris (3-1) won this last year and has not scored since, but she did hit the board in a couple of turf marathon stakes. There is no questioning her stamina and I like the rider switch to Prat. He guided her to a close-up place finish in the local Red Carpet (G3) in 2018. #3 Don’t Blame Judy (5-1) does not win often but frequently runs into the exacta or trifecta. She enters in decent form and can get a piece of this on her best day. #8 Over Thinking (12-1) is an interesting longshot for Vickie Oliver. She has sent live runners to DMR over the years, and this one missed by a neck in this race last summer at almost 11-1 odds. She has not won in quite some time and her recent form is not great, but her 4th in the Delaware Handicap (G2) July 11 was a step in the right direction. Perhaps she is rounding back into form.
