Comments: #3 United (6-5) fired trifecta shots in his last nine starts with Prat in the saddle. He won a pair of G2 races at this course and distance earlier this year, and the consistent, tactical gelding adapts to any pace scenario. He should be close up throughout in this paceless affair. #5 Salvator Mundi (6-1) has been an excellent $40k claim for D’Amato. The stalker fired big shots in all three optional claiming turf routes this year, and his numbers are on the rise. He should be in a forward position throughout and might not be out of this from a class standpoint. I have always liked #2 Originaire (7-2) and he was less than a length behind United in 2 of his last 3 starts. Cedillo knows him now and he can stalk or close. #1 Proud Pedro (8-1) has plenty of stamina and he can save ground and rally for a slice under quality rider Hernandez.
