Del Mar
DMR 8 (Let It Ride, 8T) #5 Heywoods Beach (7-2) was wide from an outer post and unable to make an impact in the Del Mar Derby (G2) Sept. 6. His local optional claiming win at this distance Aug. 9 was solid. He stalked and earned a decent late pace rating that day. Rispoli rode him twice in one mile turf races and he won both. I am looking for him to bounce back and mow these down from midpack in a race with ample pace.
