On the turf course, a stalking favorite graduated in the flat mile opener, a front running favorite dusted three rivals at 5f, a stalking favorite won by a nose at 5f, and an inside stalking favorite won the 6f finale by a nose (rail at 30 feet).
Antonio Fresu booted home a pair. Doug O’Neill saddled three winners (2 turf).
