Fast main track and firm turf course. No front running winners on dirt. On the turf course, a closing favorite won the flat mile opener, a last-to-first closer won down the hill, an 8-1 stalker tallied at one mile, and a 3-1 stalker won the finale at 1 1/8 miles (rail at 30 feet).
Tyler Baze (dirt sprints) and Umberto Rispoli (turf routes) both booted home a pair. Jeff Mullins saddled three sprint winners (2 dirt sprints).
The $1 Pick 6 pool was $72,684 and multiple tickets with six winners paid $4,314.10. The 5 out of 6 consolation prize was $68.30.
