Check out my Tuesday (4-30-24) Race 7 analysis at Churchill Downs below.
CD 7 (Clm-30k/2L, f&m 3up, 8.5f)
Primary – #3 TRANSPARENCY, #4 Miss Tappy Tone
Secondary – #7 Pivosky, #1 Mo Sense
Horse Comments:
#3 Transparency (3-1) is now conditioned by Jesus Esquivel and he excels with new additions to his barn. The early-pressing mare gets the services of Irad Ortiz and is back on dirt in her second start after a long layoff. She earned her diploma in a dirt route last year and should make her presence felt from the outset.
#4 Miss Tappy Tone (7-2) turned back, returned to dirt, and ran on for the show on March 21, and the runner-up was a next-out winner. She removes blinkers and stretches back out for Chris Hartman, and Florent Geroux strings along. She will try to get involved from off the pace.
#7 Pivosky (5-1) stalked the pace and completed the exacta in her last two dirt routes at Oaklawn. The 1-for-17 filly can get a piece of this.
#1 Mo Sense (5-1) was nabbed out of her last two starts and her new trainer Tom Amoss has good stats first after the claim. She rallied to compete the trifecta in her last two all-weather routes.
