Check out my Sunday (5-5-24) Race 7 analysis at Santa Anita Park below.

SA 7 (Grade 3 Senorita, f&m, 6.5T hillside)
Primary – #8 ANTIFONA, #2 Laulne
Secondary – #3 Alluring

Horse Comments:

#8 Antifona (5-1) might be dangerous at a hint of a price if the pace heats up. She turned back and was strong from off the pace in the Sweet Life at this course and distance on Feb. 11. She stretched back out and finished an even third in the China Doll, and had a bit of an uncomfortable trip racing between horses in an even fourth in the common Angels Flight at this trip on April 7. Profitable turf rider Hector Berrios strings along and she should be closing in the lane.

#2 Laulne (5-2) stalked the pace and prevailed by a nose over #3 Alluring (3-1) in a thrilling edition of the Angels Flight. Those two fillies put on a show last time and both look like solid contenders once again. The former is making her second start after a layoff, and the latter might get first run under Umberto Rispoli.
