Horse Comments:
#3 Reinvest (5-1) won his first two dirt starts last year and finished up the track as a 52-1 longshot in the Lexington (G3). He flopped in his next two starts and returned with an okay fourth at Tampa Bay on Jan. 10. He moved forward with a close show finish in a dirt route on Feb. 21, and switched to turf, stalked the pace, and weakened to 6th of 8 from the inside post on April 10. Tim Hamm excels with his turf to all-weather starters and Pablo Morales is 2-for-3 with this outfit recently.
#6 R Admiral (5-2) competed in six local routes last year and he won twice, landed the place twice, and completed the trifecta on two occasions. He should impact the pace from the outside post in his first start in more than seven months.
#2 Camino de Santiago (9-5) can run on anything. He is 1-for-14 with five minor awards at Presque Isle. In a pair of good efforts in 2024, he was up for the place in a dirt sprint on Feb. 11, and rallied for the win in a turf route on March 16. The Connect gelding will try to get involved late.
#1 Traveller (3-1) might show speed from the inside post in his first start since July 2022. He fired trifecta shots in 4 of 5 local starts including a romping special weight tally around two turns.
