Check out my Tuesday (6-25-24) Thistledown Race 7 analysis below.

TDN 7 (Clm-25k, 3&up, 8f) – Post Time 3:50pm EDT
Primary – #3 CARILLO, #5 One Ten
Secondary – #1 Royal Dragoon, #4 Hunter Scott

Horse Comments:

#3 Carillo (5-2) dropped to this level and went last-to-first as the favorite at 40 cents on the dollar last time. This is his third start after a layoff and he is a logical contender from off the pace if able to run two alike.

#5 One Ten (2-1) was nabbed out of his last at Mahoning Valley for $25k. He owns the best overall speed ratings and will try to get involved from off the pace. His last start was in the mud and he is 0-for-8 on wet footing. He drilled a local bullet for this on June 17 and would appreciate a fast track.

#1 Royal Dragoon (8-1) finished an even fourth in his needed return in the common June 4 route. His new rider Ricardo Feliciano is clicking at a 33% rate at Thistledown and this one should save ground before rallying in the stretch.

#4 Hunter Scott (7-2) set below par splits and missed by a neck on June 4, and Tuesday’s favorite Carillo caught him that day. He should make his presence felt from the outset in his third start after a layoff.
