#4 Recycle (7-2) turned back and scored from the rail in a local state bred allowance affair on June 12. His winning rider Walter Alencar sticks and he has good stats with John Fennessy.
#1 Grand Tortugon (9-2) finished less than a length behind Tuesday’s morning line favorite Hector in a local allowance sprint on May 20. He raced wide from an outer post as the beaten chalk last time. Pablo Morales knows him now and he projects an inner tactical journey this time.
#3 Hector (5-2) fired trifecta shots in 5 of 6 local sprints. He was up the track as a 37-1 longshot in the Tom Ridge Stakes on June 17, and he goes back on lasix and should be competitive in this spot. I like his running style versatility.
#7 Outhustle (3-1) is 3-for-5 at Presque Isle. He won twice last summer and returned with a nice $25k claiming win as the favorite on June 3. He drilled a bullet for this on June 25.
