Check out my Wednesday (7-3-24) Parx Racing Race 9 analysis below.

PRX 9 (Alw-55k, 3&up, 7f dirt) – Post Time 4:20pm EDT
Primary – #5 FAR MO POWER, #2 Spikezone
Secondary – #3 Twisted Ride, #9 Counterspy

Horse Comments:

#5 Far Mo Power (7-2) is an 8-time local winner turning back in his third start of the year. He went last-to-first in his local seven panel return on April 22, and pressed the pace and ended up 4th of 6 at one mile on June 10. He is 5-for-6 at this specialty distance.

#2 Spikezone (3-1) wired the field in 5 of his last 7 starts at shorter distances. He earned quality numbers in his last two local wins and should make his presence felt from the outset.

#3 Twisted Ride (9-2) is back in form for Michael Moore. He dueled and missed by a head at 6 1/2 panels on May 13, and battled on the pace and prevailed by a nose in a local state bred extended sprint on June 8. He meets other speed but won’t give up without a fight.

#9 Counterspy (4-1) captured five local races this year, and the early-pressing gelding has won routing and sprinting. Paco Lopez got to know him in a flat mile win on June 10, and an outside stalking trip is expected.

Wagers:
