Check out my Sunday (7-7-24) Pleasanton Race 6 analysis below.

PLN 6 (Everett Nevin, 2yo, 5.5f dirt) – Post Time 7:18pm EDT
Primary – #5 R HEISMAN
Secondary – #8 Drop Em, #6 Far Over Loaded, #7 Timty

Horse Comments:

#5 R Heisman (5-2) broke from the rail at 1-2 odds in his Santa Anita bow for Luis Mendez, and had an uncomfortable trip and was clearly second best that day. Peter Miller took over as his trainer on May 31 and he rolled to a clear victory as the overwhelming favorite under Juan Hernandez. He exceeded the winning par for this last time and should make his presence felt throughout.

#8 Drop Em (5-1) dueled from the inside post and easily earned his diploma as the favorite in his 4 1/2 furlong debut at Golden Gate on May 26. His winning pilot Adrian Castellanos is the leading rider at the current meet and this colt sports a trio of local works for this.

#6 Far Over Loaded (5-2) completed the exacta in both all-weather sprints at Golden Gate. He added blinkers and earned an improved speed rating on June 9.

#7 Timty (6-1) battled on the pace and prevailed by a nose as the chalk in his Santa Anita debut on May 12. Doug O’Neill is his new trainer and his winning rider Edwin Maldonado stays put. He should be all over the pace.

Wagers:

#5 to win
