Check out my Sunday (7-14-24) Saratoga Race 9 analysis below.

SAR 9 (Grade 3 Quick Call, 3yo, 5.5T) – Post Time 5:45pm EDT
Primary – #6 STAR OF MYSTERY
Secondary – #3 Fandom

Horse Comments:

#6 Star of Mystery (4-5) was part of the trifecta in 9 of 10 turf sprint starts. She won the Blue Point Sprint (G2) in Dubai earlier this year, and placed in her next two stakes starts in that country. She shipped to this country and missed the place by a neck in the Jaipur (G1) at this course and distance on June 8. Flavien Prat got to know her in the Jaipur and that Grade 1 turf sprint was a much tougher spot vs. older males. Prat is 3-for-4 with Charles Appleby recently and she wins this at low odds if she maintains sharp form.

#3 Fandom (9-2) easily went all the way in her turf sprint bow at Keeneland last year, and shipped to Ascot and finished 11th of 20 in the Coventry (G2) second time out. She returned from a long layoff and scored from off the pace in the Palisades at 5.5T at Keneland in April. Brad Cox is her new trainer and Jose Ortiz got acquainted with her last time. She is 2-for-2 at this distance on turf.
