#4 Fidelightcayut (7-2) turned back and split an 8-horse field in an even effort in a turf sprint stakes race on June 16. He ran well in all four turf route attempts and might go better under his new rider Ortiz Jr. He should be forwardly placed his third start after a layoff.
#5 The Big Torpedo (4-5) cut back in distance and was full of run in a sharp turf sprint stakes win on June 16. The versatile colt has run fast enough to win this several times but won’t offer much value.
#2 Courtly Banker (6-1) chased the pace and finished an even third in his all-weather sprint bow, and set the pace from post 10 and settled for the show in a turf route second time out. He turned back and landed the place behind The Big Torpedo last time. Barclay Tagg’s maiden fits with these.
