#9 Storm Miami (4-1) puts blinkers back on and turns back in her third start after a layoff. She ran well in multiple turf sprints in Ireland last year so this shorter trip helps her cause. Her worktab interesting. She spent the winter in Florida, moved to Turfway in the spring, went to Saratoga in June, and returned to Turfway and worked a solid half-mile on July 27.
#1 Silver Rose (7-2) ran well in all five dirt sprints. She added lasix and improved her speed ratings in her last two starts but is not permitted to use that medication in this stakes race. She should be forwardly placed from the inside post for the productive Geroux/Cox team.
#2 Visually (12-1) rallied to win the G3 Senorita at 6.5T on May 5, and was unplaced in her last two stakes starts on turf. Morey has her now and he is strong with horses moving from turf to synthetic. She will try to get involved from off the pace.
#7 Zo Lee (12-1) adds blinkers and will try to close ground from a stalking position. She attracts quality local rider Morales and Danner is sending out live runners at the current stand (4 2-2-0).
#5 Youalmosthadme (5-2) fired trifecta shots in all nine starts on dirt. She won three stakes races last year and hit the board as the beaten chalk in her three stakes starts this year. She was faster in 2023.
#6 Ms. Tart (8-1) rallied for the show from post 11 in a turf sprint stakes race at Ellis Park on July 6. She won a local allowance sprint last fall and might move forward in her third start after a layoff.
