Horse Comments:
#1 Iscreamuscream (8-5) is a perfect 3-for-3. She stalked and scored in her first two starts at 6T, and stretched out, battled on the pace, and scored by a bit less than a length as the favorite in the local San Clemente (G2) at 8T on July 20. Sharp turf rider Hector Berrios got acquainted with her last time and she should be all over the pace from the inside post.
#5 Buchu (12-1) competed in the graded ranks in her last six starts (6 2-1-0). Her recent form is not great but catching firm turf against this group might lead to an improved effort. She reconnects with her winning rider Martin Garcia.
#6 Medoro (5-1) lost for the first time after breaking slow and having an uncomfortable trip in a show finish in the San Clemente. She won at this trip in the Providencia (G3) and projects a stalking trip under Fresu. Eurton is 1-for-27 at DMR.
#3 Whiskey Decision (5-2) is a sharp shipper for Arnaud Delacour (2-for-60 in graded races). The versatile filly won her last three starts including the Christiana at this distance on July 8. Umberto Rispoli takes the call and she can be placed anywhere.
#4 Zona Verde (8-1) likes this turf course (3 2-1-0). She exits a rallying runner-up finish at 9-1 odds in the San Clemente and Juan Hernandez knows her well.
