Horse Comments:
#1 Tom’s Regret (4-1) fired trifecta shots in all twelve starts. She landed the place in both turf sprint attempts and should be forwardly placed from the inside post under Umberto Rispoli.
#2 Stay and Scam (2-1) finished in the top three in her last nine starts. The consistent early-pressing filly won the Fran’s Valentine at this distance on May 25, and finished an even third in the Daisycutter at 5T on July 27. She stretches back out in her second start after a layoff. She is 2-for-3 at DMR.
#10 Safa (8-1) was part of the trifecta in her last eleven starts. The consistent, versatile filly will probably try to rally from off the pace in this spot.
#7 Uncontrollable (12-1) returns to turf and stretches back out in her second start after a layoff. She handles turf and should get pace to chase, and Juan Hernandez strings along. She can get a piece of the purse.
#6 Court Snort (8-1) is a competent turf router and Armando Ayuso is a profitable turf rider. I can see the daughter of Stay Thirsty rallying for a share.
