#5 Disko Tribute (7-2) turned back, put blinkers back on, and won a local CA-bred OC-20k/1x affair at 5T on Aug. 15. Umberto Rispoli is 2-for-2 with Craig Dollase and a stalking trip is expected. He fired trifecta shots in all six turf starts at this distance (6 3-2-1).
#2 Red Pill (3-1) dueled and missed by half-length in a good effort at this course/distance on Aug. 17. That was his first turf try and Todd Fincher is strong with his second after a layoff starters.
#12 Oscar Joy (6-1) turned back and got up late in a local MSW affair at this distance on Aug. 23. That was his second solid turf sprint effort with Juan Hernandez in the saddle, and the quality late runner should make his presence felt in the lane.
#4 Sorrento Sky (10-1) turns back and reunites with his winning rider Antonio Fresu. The competent turf sprinter sports seven local works for this.
#11 Irish Royalty (8-1) got up late vs. CA-bred optional-claimers at this course/distance last time. He should be running late for the productive Kazushi Kimura/Mark Glatt team.
