#7 Goodie Goomer (9-2) turned back and rallied for the win at 8-1 odds on Aug. 21 and that was his first start in more than ten months. The 7-time local winner captured half of his eight starts at this distance and could easily repeat for the productive Ayala/Bourke team. This barn has good stats with horses attempting a repeat and with runners making their second start after a layoff.
#8 Possiblemente (5-2) exits back-to-back runner-up finishes in turf routes. He was part of the exacta in 3 of 4 starts on all-weather ground including a runner-up finish in his lone local attempt last fall.
#4 He’s a Mess (4-1) competed in the stakes ranks in 4 of his last 5 starts. He reconnects with Pablo Morales and has a good overall record at Presque Isle. He will try to get involved from off the pace.
#1 Seven Bridges Road (7-2) rallied for the place in a turf route at Colonial Downs on Sept. 4 and Maria Bowersock claimed him for $25k. He landed the place in his lone attempt on all-weather ground.
