Check out my Tuesday (10-15-24) Presque Isle Downs Race 7 analysis below.

PID 7 (Alw-32k/1x, 3up, 6f all-weather) – Post Time 5:42 PM ET
Primary – #1 OSKAR MARTINEZ, #6 Tarsus Warrior
Secondary – #2 Rocket Dragon, #7 Reeled In

Horse Comments:

#1 Oskar Martinez (5-1) added blinkers, turned back, set a pressured pace, and edged clear to graduate by 2 1/2 lengths in a special weight turf sprint at Colonial Downs on Aug. 31, and the runner-up was a next-out winner. Arnaud Delacour excels with his recent grads trying winners for the first time, and this 4-year-old gelding will probably save ground stalking the the pace from the inside post in his first all-weather attempt.

#6 Tarsus Warrior (5-2) was clearly second best as the beaten favorite in his local bow, and he smartly went all the way as the chalk in his last pair. He beat state bred allowance foes last time and might go all the way again for a productive jockey-trainer team.

#2 Rocket Dragon (3-1) was part of the trifecta in his last ten starts. The versatile early-pressing gelding is 1-for-1 on all-weather ground.

#7 Reeled In (6-1) should get pace to chase and he has a good overall record at this course and distance. He rallied to finish a close third in a similar local sprint on Sept. 4.
