Horse Comments:
#5 Patriarchal (9-2) was part of the trifecta in his last three local starts. He cuts back 70 yards and reunites with his winning rider Jorge Vargas Jr. A stalking trip is expected.
#2 Secured Landing (3-1) stalked wide and faded to last of 9 at Aqueduct Nov. 1. He was part of the exacta in four straight dirt races prior to his last, and he is 2-for-3 with a runner-up finish at Parx. He makes his presence felt from the outset.
#4 Traffic Master (7-2) is entered for the $25k tag. He ran well in all four starts at one mile (4 2-1-1), and he is 0-for-11 with five minor awards at Parx (4 runner-up finishes).
#3 Prince of Chill (4-1) finished in the top three in his last five starts. He stretched out and missed by a half-length Oct. 22, and he was placed first through disqualification. He will try to get involved from off the pace.
