#6 Don’t Wait Up (5-2) chased the pace and won a local $40k claimer by a nose Oct. 1, and came back two weeks later and finished a close 3rd in an optional-claiming sprint. He shipped to Laurel and beat optional-claimers at seven panels as the favorite Nov. 3. The 8-time winner earned quality numbers in his last three starts and is entered for the $50k tag. He fired a local half-mile bullet for this Nov. 25 and reconnects with his winning rider Mychel Sanchez.
#2 Winning Time (5-1) was part of the trifecta in all seven local starts and he has struck twice at this trip. He returned from a layoff and was a distant 3rd behind romping winner Bolt of Aurum as the beaten chalk Oct. 28. He was the favorite again Nov. 11 and he battled on the pace and scored by 2 1/2 lengths under Paco Lopez. This is his third start after a long layoff and he should make his presence felt throughout.
#4 Bolt of Aurum (4-1) added lasix and stalked, led, and missed the place by a nose at seven panels in the slop at Laurel Sept. 28. The sophomore colt shipped to Parx and aired at 2-1 odds in an optional-claiming event at this distance Oct. 28. He earned a quality speed rating last time and is a logical contender if he can avoid a bounce in his third start after a layoff. Paco Lopez opted to ride Winning Time so this one reunites with Jevian Toledo.
