#4 Tony Eclipse (2-1) stalked and faded in his flat mile turf bow, and switched to dirt and easily went all the way at one mile second time out. He set the pace and was clearly second best behind #9 It’s Hammertime (5-1) in the Rocky Run Oct. 9, and set the pace and missed the place by a nose in the Nashua Nov. 2. He cuts back a furlong and might be the one to catch for the productive Jevian Toledo/Brittany Russell team.
#1 Sacred Thunder (9-2) finished in the top three in all seven starts. He stalked and scored in the James F. Lewis at six panels Nov. 9. Gary Capuano’s colt drilled a local bullet for this Dec. 3.
#3 Executive Order (5-2) earned a decent number in his winning dirt sprint debut at Saratoga. He was 17-1 in the Champagne (G1) second time out and he finished up the track from an outer post. He sports five works for this and can compete here if he runs back to his bow.
#6 Reggie Runs Rogue (12-1) stalked and scored in his first two dirt sprints at Colonial Downs, and he shipped to this oval and finished an okay 4th of 9 in the Laurel Futurity Sept. 28 (off the turf). He earned a decent late pace rating last time and might spice up the exotics.
