#8 Beyond Belief (9-2) chose this race over the Gin Talking at Laurel Park Dec. 28. She dueled, opened up, and held on by a nose in her debut, and stalked and finished a solid third in the Smart Halo Nov. 9. Caprice beat her last time and that filly captured her fifth stakes win of the year in the aforementioned Gin Talking. This Goldencents filly has upside and would not have to run much faster to compete for the win.
#7 Maximus Angelicus (9-5) stretched out, controlled the pace, and dominated by a dozen lengths in her local maiden win as the strong favorite Nov. 18. She turns back and should be forwardly placed, and drilled a half-mile bullet for this Dec. 20.
#5 Volleyballprincess (4-1) stalked and scored in her local dirt sprint maiden win at 13-1 odds Oct. 22, and show finisher Maximus Angelicus was a strong next-out winner. She sports a pair of local bullet since her bow including a nice 5f move Dec. 20.
#6 Tip Line (8-1) was 3-1 in her local dirt sprint bow and she rallied from off the pace to earn her diploma by 8 1/2 lengths Oct. 7. She shipped to New Year and was nowhere in the Tempted and Demoiselle (G2) in her last pair. She is back at her winning venue and might bounce back at a price.
