Horse Comments:
#7 Sweet Note (4-1) stalked outside and was solid in her dirt sprint bow at CD Oct. 27. She was 10-1 in her bow and 5-2 second time out, and ended up a distant third behind romping winner Book’em at this distance Nov. 30. Brendan Walsh shows a +ROI with horses adding blinkers and she blew out a 3f bullet for this Dec. 27. Tyler Gaffalione strings along and she figures to stalk the pace from the outside post.
#4 Paradise City (9-5) was 2-1 in her local dirt sprint bow and she stalked and scored by a length. She stretched out at KEE Oct. 18 and finished a disappointing 4th of 9, and she turned back and weakened to 4th of 6 in a local extended sprint Dec. 7 (blinkers on). Saffie Joseph Jr. has good stats with the blinkers off move, and this filly drilled a half-mile bullet for this Dec. 27. Irad Ortiz Jr. is her new pilot.
#6 Andrea (5-2) easily went all the way in her first two local starts including a win in the Hallandale Beach at this distance Sept. 14. She faded in her last two stakes sprints at KEE and TAM, and she stretches out two furlongs and figures to play catch me if you can at her winning venue. She might be long gone if they leave her alone early.
