#10 Firenze Flavor (5-1) rallied from last to split a 10-horse field (beaten 3 3/4 lengths) at 11-1 odds in her 8T bow Nov. 3. She adds lasix and Paddy Gallagher is a profitable 6-for-24 with second timers. Umberto Rispoli is 1-for-6 with this barn and four of those runners finished in the top three. She sports six local works for this.
#8 Pure Vida Princesa (2-1) switched to turf and earned the best last race number in a nose defeat as the favorite at 5T Nov. 16 (stalked from post 11). She adds lasix and dam has tossed a turf winner, and Antonio Fresu got to know her last time. Her dam Betyar won three routes (1 on turf).
#2 Kitty Marren (9-2) stretched out after two sprints and landed the place from post 12 at this distance at DMR Nov. 30. She adds lasix and recently hot rider Juan Hernandez got to know her last time. She improved her speed ratings in all three starts.
#4 Calmate (8-1) rallied to finish a distant second behind subsequent stakes winner Silent Law in her dirt sprint bow. She raced wide and ran last of 6 in a dirt sprint second time out, and stretched out, moved to turf, and was 6th of 11 from post 10 as a 68-1 longshot at 8T Dec. 26. Michael McCarthy shows a profit with the blinkers on move and Flavien Prat is 3-for-5 with this barn recently.
#5 Footnote (6-1) was 74-1 in her 8T bow and she rallied to finish a half-length behind Kitty Marren. Rolando Quinonez is a profitable, low profile trainer and Hector Berrios is a sharp turf rider.
