#3 Alcala (5-1) dueled and weakened in a starter allowance dirt sprint at AQU Jan. 4. She likes this oval (9 3-3-2) and her last win was at this course and distance (May 2024).
#5 Pachelbel (3-1) had her 9-race trifecta streak snapped when finishing 7th of 10 in a PA-bred OC-50k/2x affair at this course/distance Jan. 29. She can bounce back from off the pace for a productive jockey-trainer team.
#6 Bustin Down Doors (5-2) romped by 6 1/4 lengths when last seen in a NJ-bred OC-15k/1x dirt sprint at MTH as the 1-2 favorite June 2024. She has never competed at this distance.
#1 Bella Queen (9-2) finished a head behind Pachelbel from the outside post in a similar local sprint Jan. 16. She usually runs her race in sprint races and could easily hit the board.
