#6 Tirupati (5-1) was part of the trifecta in 9 of 10 starts, and her lone flop was a last of 11 finish as a 75-1 outsider in the G1 Matriarch. She won 3 of her last 5 starts including a sharp stalking score vs. starter allowance foes at this course/distance Jan. 4.
#2 Eternal Reign (4-1) finished 5th in her debut and fired trifecta shots in her last four MSW starts. She shipped to this country and pressed and graduated as the chalk at this course/distance Dec. 27, and runner-up Sophisticate beat three rivals as the heavy favorite in a local MSW turf route Jan. 24. Flavien Prat stays put and she should make her presence felt throughout.
#12 Kentucky Gal (5-1) won two overseas races last year. She shipped to SA and did not have the smoothest journey when finishing 4th of 10 at 9T Jan. 25. She sports two works since her last and sharp turf rider Hector Berrios takes the call.
#4 Needlepoint (7-2) went 2-for-3 with a show finish in her overseas starts. Paddy Gallagher has her now and Frankie Dettori takes the call, and she sports a pair of local all-weather bullets for this.
