#10 Entressa (7-2) broke slow from the outside post and recovered quickly, opened up a clear early lead, and was best of the rest in third in her local 6.5T bow Feb. 15, and winner Jungle Peace clicked right back March 9. They paid $575k for this Twirling Candy filly and John Shirreffs is a profitable 23% with second timers.
#6 Robin With a Why (3-1) pressed, led, and was second best at 18-1 odds in her 6T bow Jan. 19. She adds lasix and apprentice Serafin Carmona stays put.
#3 Pam and Tina (5-1) showed improved early interest in her second career start Jan. 19. Phil D’Amato has good stats with his second lasix starters and Umberto Rispoli has been winning races with this outfit recently.
#1 Storm Lady (5-1) hit the board in all three sprints in GB last year. Gaines shows a profit with this type of layoff runner and with first lasix starters. She fired a local half-mile bullet for this in January and had a decent gate work for this March 9. Frankie Dettori takes the call.
#9 Prestige Fungson (9-2) had a solid local half-mile gate work March 3. Peter Eurton is a profitable turf trainer and Juan Hernandez wins races with this barn.
AE #14 Cloudy Women (8-1) rallied to hit the board in her last three turf sprints. She is a logical trifecta player from off the pace if she gets in from the also-eligible list.
