Horse Comments:
#1 Corposo (5-2) stretched out and graduated at SA second time out last year, and was third in the SA Oaks (G2) and second in the Black-Eyed Susan (G2). She returned from a long layoff and was 5th of 6 in a turf route April 20. She is back on dirt in her second start of the year and a ground saving tactical trip is expected.
#2 Autumn Rhythm (3-1) stalked and scored in a starter allowance extended sprint at KEE April 12. Her winning rider Luis Saez stays put and she should impact the pace.
#3 Stipulate (7-2) stretched out, battled on the pace and was best of the rest in third at OP April 26, and late running winner Kinzie Queen landed the show in the Black-Eyed Susan May 16. This distance might work well for her.
#5 Islander (5-1) stalked and graduated at this course/distance last fall, and chased and finished a distant third when last seen October 2024. Luis Saez ends up on Autumn Rhythm and her new pilot Jose Ortiz is a profitable 28% route rider.
