Horse Comments:
#3 Sticky McShnickens (9-2) turned back, returned to all-weather ground, and stalked and graduated by 2 lengths at five panels on May 3. It took him ten races to break his maiden and the light bulb went on last time. He might be able to make it two straight wins.
#1 Sneaky Sneaky (7-2) ran well in his last four local all-weather sprints. He dueled and graduated at this course/distance Feb. 15, and stalked and scored by 4 3/4 lengths at five panels on May 9. Laura Cazares claimed him for $25k last time and his winning rider Emisael Jaramillo stays put.
#9 Coercive (4-1) dropped into a $25k/2L synthetic sprint and stalked the pace and landed the place on March 13. Edgard Zayas is 4-for-7 with Joe Orseno recently and an outside stalking trip is expected.
#7 Mackor (5-1) was part of the trifecta in his last six starts. He put blinkers back on and split Coercive and Sticky McShnickens in a local maiden sprint in November, and dueled and held the place in a MSW turf sprint in December. He was 5-1 in his all-weather return May 1 and he stalked and scored by 1 3/4 lengths, and the clear, distant show finisher was a next-out winner. Fernando Abreu shows a profit with his second after a layoff starters and he ran well both times Edgar Perez was aboard.
