#5 Just Relax (3-1) dropped out of the MSW ranks, turned back, returned to dirt, and set the pace and kept on going in a sharp win by 4 lengths at TAM April 27. Juan Arriagada claimed him for $32k last time and he might be the one to catch.
#3 Town Barber (8-5) stalked the pace and missed by a neck in a $50k/2L all-weather sprint at TP March 27, and broke slow and was up the track in an allowance turf sprint at CD May 16. He figures to stalk the pace in his second start after a short layoff for strong turf/synthetic trainer Riley Mott.
#6 Schnittker (2-1) was part of the trifecta in all four local starts and was the betting favorite each time. He stalked from an outer post and scored by a neck in his bow, and settled for the place in his next two starts. He returned from a long layoff and rallied for the show from post 10 May 19, and he was claimed for $12.5k that day.
