#3 Cocktail Kisses (7-2) moved to the Matthew Kintz barn and graduated as the even money favorite in a turf route at Tampa Bay on April 5. She was third in a flat mile turf race on May 4, and shipped to this oval and weakened to 5th of 9 after setting the pace in an all-weather allowance route on June 2. The versatile filly turns back and drops in class.
#9 House of Magic (3-1) stalked the pace and was an even third as the beaten favorite in a similar local sprint on May 20, and that was her first start in more than five months. Brandon Kulp (31% at Presque Isle) is a profitable 26% with new additions to his barn and Antonio Gallardo stays put and is 2-for-4 with this outfit. She fired a local half-mile bullet for this on June 18.
#6 Time Leap (4-1) added lasix, dropped into a maiden claimer, and broke her maiden in an all-weather sprint at Gulfstream in February. She shipped to Presque Isle and rallied through traffic to land the place in a similar sprint on June 4.
#11 Wherever We Are (9-2) is making nice progress for quality local trainer Adam Rice. She broke slow and finished up the track as the beaten favorite in her career debut for Wesley Ward last fall, and Rice claimed her for $50k. She returned from a layoff and rallied to finish a clear second as the beaten favorite in a local Mcl-7.5k sprint May 27. She was the favorite again in a $15k maiden claiming sprint June 10 and attended the pace and graduated by 2 1/2 lengths.
