Horse Comments:
#2 Long Pour (2-1) ran well in his last three starts at 6f. He wired the field from an outer post in a MSW win at SAR Aug. 23, and he landed the place in his last two local starts vs. this kind. Ricardo Santana, Jr. sticks with Steve Asmussen’s sophomore colt and he should be forwardly placed.
#7 Skytown (10-1) makes her first start since an unplaced effort in a NY-bred stakes race in March. He fired trifecta shots in his first four MSW starts including a victory over a next-out winner in February. He goes back on lasix and this is his first start as a gelding.
