Check out my Wednesday (12-3-25) Tampa Bay Downs Race 7 analysis below.

TAM 7 (MSW-55k, F&M, 8.5T) – Post Time  3:30 PM ET
Primary – #7 POP ART, #8 Portfolio Duration
Secondary – #4 Spinning Class

Horse Comments:

#7 Pop Art (9-2) was 4-1 in her GP dirt sprint bow in January and she raced wide from the outside post and finished 4th of 7 (beaten 13 lengths). They paid $750k for this Medaglia d’Oro filly and dam Painting finished in the top three in six stakes races including a win in the G3 Ontario Fashion in 2020. Tom Proctor’s returnee had a local 3f gate move for this on Nov. 23 and Pablo Morales is 1-for-1 with this barn and is a profitable 20% turf pilot.

#8 Portfolio Duration (1-1) was the favorite in her local turf route bow in February and she rallied to miss by a head, and the show finisher was a next-out winner. Chad Brown’s $190k returnee is a logical contender under her new rider Antonio Gallardo.

#4 Spinning Class (3-1) makes her first start since April and she should impact the pace in a race lacking front end speed. She hit the board in two of five turf routes and her new rider Samuel Marin is 7-for-33 at TAM.
