#5 O K Rose (9-2) was a close third when last seen Nov. 24, and she pressed above par fractions and missed the show by a head in a 5-horse affair at 8T Oct. 10. She rallied from far back to win a local CA-bred OC-20k/1x affair at 8T in July, and she was a troubled 9th of 10 at 8T in August. Her winning rider Armando Ayuso stays put and she is fairly reliable on turf (13 2-3-4).
#3 Going Lucky (4-1) was right up on the pace in her first two all-weather sprint wins, and she was 4th of 5 when last seen in a synthetic sprint Nov. 1. Jonathan Thomas is her new trainer and he is a profitable 31% with his first turf starters, and Umberto Rispoli is 2-for-3 with this outfit. She sports a pair of local half-mile works for this.
#1 Miss Meagher (7-2) stalked from the inside post, led, and missed by a neck at 8T Nov. 24 and she finished a half-length in front of O K Rose that day. Hector Berrios got to know her last time and she figures to duplicate her Nov. 24 trip.
#2 Miyako (9-2) moved to the George Papaprodromou barn, stretched back out, and wired the field under Edwin Maldonado at 8T Nov. 29. She might win again if she shakes loose early.
