#4 How Lovely (5-2) rallied for the show as the beaten favorite in a $20k/3L dirt sprint at LRC Dec. 13 and Steve Knapp may have made a timely claim. She won a $50k affair at 5T last summer and missed by a neck in a similar local 6T event last fall. Edwin Maldonado rides back and she should be forwardly placed.
#2 Prime and Ready (9-5) rallied through traffic to finish 4th of 11 as a 32-1 longshot at 5T Nov. 23 (OC-50k/1x). The 2-time local winner meets easier company and will probably be closer to the pace under her new rider Emisael Jaramillo.
#1 Ketonia (2-1) makes her first start since January 2025 for Ron Ellis. She won a pair of flat mile turf races in 2024 and drilled a local 5f bullet for this Jan. 8.
