Check out my Wednesday (1-21-26) Turf Paradise Race 8 analysis below.
TUP 8 (OC-15k, 4&up, 6f dirt) – Post Time 6:28 PM ET
Primary – #7 FACTORY DRIVE, #2 Hit Scene
Secondary – #8 Big Producer, #4 Tygra
Horse Comments:
#7 Factory Drive (7-2) moved to the Vann Belvoir barn and he stalked wide from an outer post and landed the pace as the favorite behind a romping winner in a local sprint Jan. 5. He was the betting favorite on eight occasions since December 2024 and he won two of those races. The versatile gelding makes his second start off a long layoff.
#2 Hit Scene (3-1) moves to the high percentage Mike Chambers barn and he should impact the pace. Both of his wins were at six panels and 21% sprint rider Keven Krigger is his new pilot.
#8 Big Producer (12-1) matched the par for this level when finishing a clear second in a $12.5k claiming sprint at Mountaineer on 9-29-25. Trainer Ryan Bratcher is 4-for-13 at Turf Paradise and he drilled a local half-mile bullet for this Jan. 7.
#4 Tygra (4-1) was on the wrong end of the win photo in two of his first four starts, and he got over the hump in a local wire job win by 6 1/2 lengths as the heavy favorite in a local sprint Dec. 11.
